From an open question to a team that ships
One continuous engagement: pressure-test the opportunity, build the MVP, then scale the team that owns it.
The engagement arc
Analyze
Pressure-test the opportunity before a line of code exists.
Feasibility, scope, and build-vs-buy against a real cost model. You get the constraints that actually bind, the ones that don't, and a clear go/no-go — including "no", when that's the honest answer. Cheaper to find out here than six months in.
Build
Ship the MVP as the hands-on engineer.
I write the code. Architecture, infrastructure, and delivery through to first real users, scoped so the thing you launch can survive being right. No handoff to a team that wasn't in the room for the decisions.
Scale
Take the CTO seat and grow past the founder bottleneck.
Hiring and leading the engineers who take it from here, hardening what the MVP proved, and owning technical direction as the org gets heavier. The goal is a team that doesn't need me.
